Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of TCG DeckBase™.

By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.

About TCG DeckBase™

TCG DeckBase™ is an independent deck management, organisational, educational, and utility platform designed for trading card game players.

TCG DeckBase™ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., The Pokémon Company, or The Pokémon Company International.

Pokémon, Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon TCG, card names, card artwork, character names, set names, logos, and related intellectual property are the property of their respective owners.

References to Pokémon content are used strictly for identification, compatibility, commentary, organisational, educational, and informational purposes only.

TCG DeckBase™ does not claim ownership of Pokémon intellectual property.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

If you are under the age required to consent to online services in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.

You must notify us immediately if you become aware of unauthorised access or security breaches relating to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where suspicious activity, abuse, or misuse is detected.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use TCG DeckBase™ lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

• violate any applicable laws or regulations
• upload unlawful, abusive, harmful, misleading, or infringing content
• interfere with platform operation or security
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
• exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended behaviour
• harass, abuse, or harm other users
• use the platform to distribute spam or malicious software

Automated Access and Scraping

You must not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, scripts, automated systems, data mining tools, AI extraction systems, or similar technologies to access, monitor, copy, extract, mirror, or reproduce platform data, systems, workflows, or functionality without written permission.

You must not commercially reproduce or replicate any part of TCG DeckBase™, including proprietary workflows, functionality, interfaces, database structures, export systems, legality systems, ownership systems, or platform features.

Unauthorised automated access or replication attempts may result in account suspension, termination, blocked access, and legal action.

Intellectual Property

All software, functionality, systems, workflows, interfaces, platform features, branding, logos, graphics, exports, databases, layouts, proprietary tools, written content, and original materials made available through TCG DeckBase™ are owned by or licensed to TCG DeckBase™ and are protected by intellectual property laws.

TCG DeckBase™, DeckBase™, associated logos, branding, functionality, and proprietary systems are protected intellectual property.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, reverse engineer, commercially exploit, mirror, decompile, or create derivative works from any proprietary part of the platform without prior written permission.

Nothing within these Terms transfers ownership of platform intellectual property to users.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create using the platform.

By submitting content, you grant TCG DeckBase™ permission to store, process, display, and use such content as necessary to operate and improve the service.

You are solely responsible for content submitted under your account.

We reserve the right to remove content where necessary to:

• protect users
• comply with legal obligations
• protect platform integrity
• enforce these Terms

Beta and Early Access Features

Some features may be marked as beta, experimental, or early access.

These features may:

• contain bugs
• change without notice
• become unavailable
• behave unpredictably

Beta features are provided without guarantees regarding stability, availability, or performance.

Subscriptions and Payments

Certain platform features may require a paid subscription.

Subscription terms, pricing, billing cycles, and feature access may change over time.

Failure to maintain payment may result in restricted access to subscription features.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue subscription plans at any time.

Availability

We aim to maintain reliable platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

• competitive success
• uninterrupted service availability

Use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.

Nothing provided through the platform constitutes professional, legal, financial, or competitive advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TCG DeckBase™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

We are not responsible for:

• loss of data
• deck list loss
• account access issues
• tournament outcomes
• third-party API failures
• third-party service interruptions
• platform downtime
• lost profits
• business interruption

Our total liability relating to the service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to use the service during the previous twelve months.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform at our discretion where:

• misuse is detected
• abuse occurs
• unlawful behaviour is suspected
• platform integrity is threatened
• these Terms are violated

Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect users, systems, intellectual property, or the platform itself.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes relating to these Terms or use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
